This Acceptable Use Policy explains the standards of behaviour expected from everyone who accesses or uses The Bainbridge Institute website, learning platform and associated services. It helps protect learners, employers, instructors and the integrity of our platform by setting out acceptable and prohibited behaviour. This policy applies to all visitors, registered learners, employer administrators, instructors, consultants, contractors and any other individual or organisation accessing our services. Course materials are protected by intellectual property rights and are supplied solely for authorised learning. They must not be copied, shared, sold, recorded, reproduced or commercially exploited without our written permission.
7. Platform Security
Users must not introduce malicious software, interfere with platform operations, attempt to bypass security controls or gain unauthorised access to systems or data. Suspected criminal activity may be reported to the relevant authorities.
8. User Content
Where users upload assignments, evidence or other content, they remain responsible for ensuring that the material is lawful, accurate and does not infringe the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content that breaches this policy.
9. AI-Assisted Services
Where AI-assisted learning or support services are provided, they must be used responsibly. AI-generated information is provided for educational purposes and should not replace professional legal, medical or occupational advice.
10. Monitoring and Enforcement
To protect the platform we may lawfully monitor system activity, security logs and audit records where proportionate. Suspected breaches may be investigated and appropriate action taken.
11. Breaches of this Policy
Depending upon the seriousness of any breach, we may issue warnings, suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, restrict access to services or report unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities.
12. Academic Integrity and Assessment Misconduct
Learners are expected to complete all assessments honestly and using their own knowledge and understanding unless collaboration is expressly permitted. You must not ask another person to complete assessments on your behalf, submit work that is not your own or misuse artificial intelligence or automated tools in a way that undermines the purpose of an assessment. Where academic dishonesty is identified, The Bainbridge Institute reserves the right to invalidate assessment results, withhold or withdraw certificates, require reassessment, suspend access to courses or take any other action considered appropriate.
13. Reporting Concerns
If you become aware of activity that breaches this policy or threatens the security or integrity of the platform, please report it to support@thebainbridgeinstitute.com. We will investigate reports fairly and confidentially where appropriate.
